We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. Critiques
First off, there isn't a heck of a lot to critique on, given that it's just a rough sketch, but I'll do what I can.
On the whole, I like this one. It's a man, right? Perhaps a slightly bigger jaw, if you want him to look slightly manlier. The hair is good, I like the way you've actually brought it into three dimensions time.
The little flaming ball thing is quite nice, too. The outfit looks kind of interesting, but we can only see a little bit of it. If you colour this right, it could be a nice portrait.
However, the idea is very typical fantasy, and as such, doesn't really appeal to me.
